Salvation Experience:

In a nut shell, I am a preacher's kid, so I was raised in church. At the age of 8, I said the prayer of salvation, not knowing at all what I was doing. I went through my life thinking I was saved but knowing something was missing. Then, over this past summer (summer 2011), the Lord revealed Himself to me in a mighty way and I surrendered to Him and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior while on a mission trip in Macon, GA. I was baptized by my dad the next Sunday, and my life hasn't been the same since. I was a "worship leader" in the church while I was unsaved, but now I am a genuine "lead worshipper". I fail constantly, but I try my hardest to follow the Lord and bring Him glory daily.

Favorite Verses:

-Micah 6:8~ "He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your Lord."

-Philippians 2:5-11~ "Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that every knee will bow, of those on earth and under the earth and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father."
